In order to activate the chat and contact the host before purchasing accreditation to an event, you must click the Follow button on the host's profile and wait for it to be reciprocated, thus triggering, the match.
To start chatting, simply click the Chat button just below the biography in the host's profile.
If, on the other hand, you have already purchased accreditation, you can use the event chat directly without necessarily triggering the match with the host.
To use the event chat click on the Chat button you can find on the event under My Events > Accreditations.
NB: The chat is only available via the mobile app.
