What are cohosting events and how do they work?

Co-hosted events are events organised and managed by several hosts.

Insert event

In the event creation procedure you will find a screen asking whether you will run the event alone or with cohosts. By clicking On - I will run the event together with other hosts you can create an event together with other hosts.

After clicking On you have the choice of whether you receive all the shares yourself or whether you divide them equally between all hosts. You can select the cohosts by entering their names in the list that will appear.

Cohost confirmation

As soon as your event is published, cohosts will receive a notification in the app asking them to confirm their participation in the event as a host and they will have to accept it within 24 hours, after which it will no longer be possible.

Event Management

All cohosts will be able to access the event from their account, then edit it, see the list of participants and write in the broadcast chat, whose conversations will be visible to all cohosts.

Related crew

If you want to link a crew to the event by co-hosting, you must first ensure that each co-host of the event is also an admin of that crew, otherwise you will not be able to link it.

Reviews

Reviews will be visible on the profile of all event cohosts and their score will be averaged with that of previous events.

Notifications

Notifications sent to cohost followers when publishing a new event are sent after the host accepts co-hosting, and only reach users who have not previously been notified by the main host.

Thus, if, for example, a user follows both the main host and the event cohost, they will only receive notification from the main host.
