What is the Reliability Index?

The Reliability Index is a system that encourages participants to honor their commitments when signing up for ComeHome events. It helps reduce no-shows and ensures more organized and engaging events for everyone.

How does the Reliability Index work?

Each participant starts with 100 percentage points. The score may change based on the following actions:

  • Cancellation at least 6 hours in advance: No penalty, the score remains unchanged.

  • Cancellation less than 6 hours before the event and no participation: -15 percentage points.

  • No cancellation and absence from the event: -30 percentage points.

What happens if my score drops too low?

If your percentage score falls below certain thresholds, the following consequences apply:

  • Below 60% (59 percentage points): You receive a yellow card, a warning to encourage event participation.

  • Below 40% (39 percentage points): You receive a red card, a final chance to avoid restrictions.

What happens if my score is already below 40% and I don’t show up for an event?

If your score is 40% or lower and you continue to miss events without canceling, the system will immediately block purchases for 30 days.
You will still be able to access the app and attend previously purchased events, but you won’t be able to book new events until your access is restored.

How can I avoid the block?

The only way to avoid the block is to cancel your attendance in time (at least 6 hours before the event) or regularly participate in events.

How can I improve my score?

By attending events and ensuring your host checks you in. If the check-in is not recorded, your score will not increase.

Practical example of score variation

Jessica signs up for an event:

  • Cancels at least 6 hours in advance → Score remains 100%.

  • Does not cancel in time and does not attend → Score drops to 85% (-15 points).

  • Does not cancel and does not attend → Score drops to 70% (-30 points).

When does this system take effect?

The Reliability Index will be active starting March 1, 2025.

Why is this system useful for me?

  • More participation, fewer no-shows: Encourages attendees to respect their commitments.

  • More predictable events: You will have a clearer idea of how many people will attend.

  • Better experiences: A reliable audience improves event quality.

What should I do as a host to help participants?

Remember to check in participants at the event so their score can increase and they can continue attending events.
