New payment methods

Since February, ComeHome events can be purchased using new payment methods that are more flexible and convenient in addition to the classic credit card.

Here are some of the new payment methods already available in the app:

- Google Pay

- Apple Pay

- Satispay

Coming soon:

- Paypal

- Scalapay (to purchase the most expensive events, over €100, in 3 installments)

Event Cancellation and Postponement

In case you need to move the date of the event or proceed directly to the cancellation you must necessarily indicate the reason in the appropriate request box.

Moving an event can be done up to a maximum of 2 times but only within and not later than 30 days the previous set date.

Event age range

 In order to improve the ComeHome experience and thus increase the connection between people, we have made it mandatory to define a specific age range for events that fall into the food and beverage, games, party and dating categories.

Buy for a friend

You can now also buy accreditations to ComeHome events for friends

  1. When purchasing you will simply click on the "Buy for a Friend" button, enter his or her personal details and gender (it will be used to block the seat in the respective queue) and proceed to the next steps to purchase both accreditations.

  1. After purchasing, copy and share the invitation link to the person for whom you purchased an accreditation. Be sure to remind your friend to be quick to redeem his or her accreditation! This will only remain valid for 24 hours from the time of your purchase.

  1. Once your participation has been redeemed...this is it! All that's left is for you to get ready to participate together in your next ComeHome!

Superhost Parameters

Superhost parameters are now calculated based on the calendar month and no longer on 30 days. Each Superhost will have the check on the 1st day of the month and two lines will be visible in the host progress panel:

  1. The 1st line shows events for the current month that you have already successfully finished (so events that you have only posted will no longer be visible, these are visible in the Host > Scheduled Events section.

  1. The 2nd line shows the events you have posted for the month following the current month. The filling rate is also calculated on the events you have TERMINATED in the current month. PLEASE NOTE: At the superhost check (1st of each month) obviously the 1st line resets since even though you have events in your catalog, you have obviously not yet finished them.

Events on local commercial

Now for events held on local commercial with more than 30 attendees, the venue must be for the EXCLUSIVE use of the Comehome event, meaning it can be accessed ONLY by people accredited to the event. Therefore, it is no longer possible to use only reserved areas within a venue.

ComeHome Rules of Conduct, Values and Manifesto

Starting in January, it will be possible to view the new Rules of Conduct, Manifesto and Values Charter for the entire community on the app or website with the goal of improving and protecting the ComeHome experience. 

Automatic Superhost Posting

From January, automatic publication of events will be available only to Superhosts; all other hosts will have to send in their event proposal for approval to the ComeHome team.

Host Fees

We currently use the Mangopay payment system, this system allows you to receive event compensation in the form of in app credits within the host's wallet that can be downloaded independently by indicating the amount to your bank account in the form of a wire transfer from the Profile > My Credits > Transfer section.
